libice6 software package provides X11 Inter-Client Exchange library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libice6
libice6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libice6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libice6 *
You will get with libice6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
